Niekol D . June 2013 "Perfect stay for cyclists"

'We had a great holiday. In the beginning it was a bit cold at desent, but during the week it became really nice weather. We just changed our plans and cycled to the top of La Plagne, Les Arcs and La Rosiere and the last climb was up the Cormet du Roselend. Your chalet was really perfect for our goals. Great rooms, beds and nice location. We stayed with 8 adults. Met vriendelijke groet,'

We had a great week at Chalet Tarine! It is a lovely chalet in a great location and you've done a great job with the renovation.

The weather was mixed during our stay but there was so much snow on the mountain already that we had some fantastic days.

We had a wonderfull time on our holiday. Your chalet is really great.

The weather was indeed not so good. It snowed almost all week and it was cold. But that is part of the experience.

Many thanks that we could stay in your chalet. We loved it.

"This is really superb place to stay - a real home from home, we could have stayed another week.  The location is great and central to all the main ski resorts.  Loads of room even for larger groups and plenty of bathrooms.  Would recommend this property to anyone - definately worth a visit."

"Wonderful chalet - Wonderful location." - Norfolks No1 Downhill Skiier February 19, 2010 Date of Stay: January 2010

"Having skied in Bulgaria for the last few seasons we decided to head back to the Alps this time. Knowing how expensive it can be in the resorts we found Chalet Tarine and booked our party of ten in. The party consisted of seven adults and three adult sized children and there was still more than enough room for us all. The Chalet is quite amazing – it is decorated to a very high level blending rustic features with new modern fittings. The rooms are all very large and comfy and the lounge and dining area on the top floor is beautiful. We spent many cosy evenings chatting around the huge dinner table and catching up on some old DVD’s into the night in front of the blazing log fire. The trek up to the village was quite daunting the first time and snow chains were essential for most of it but when we got there it was well worth the trip. By using the local supermarkets we were able to eat and drink really well and really cheaply. This chalet is a great base for skiing in the winter and walking and exploring in the summer and the owners are always ready with tips and advice. We will definitely be going again."

John S Feb 2011'The kids really appreciated the extensive DVD collection and large TV. There was always lots of hot water and the whole chalet was kept nice and warm. Plenty of seating and lots of space. Great bedrooms and bathrooms. This was definitely the nicest chalet we've stayed in over the last 10 years. '

We had an incredible stay, couldn't recommend Tom's chalet more. We visited at the last weekend of the ski season, so were blessed with hot sun and heavy snow during our one week stay! The chalet is located up on the hill, in a group of other farm houses, a ten minute windy road from the town - stock up on food supplies before you get there. Tom was a fantastic host, despite us not actually meeting him, and got back to us quickly when we arrived and had a question. The chalet itself is INCREDIBLE. Very spacious, finished to a high standard, warm, plenty of things to keep children occupied (also with a cot and high chair). Really can not say enough positive things here. Can't wait to return :)
